About
Stories from the streets
Annie Coyle Art
This exhibition is a collection of paintings inspired by the places that have stayed with me over the years. From the streets of Derry to the coastline of Donegal, every painting has a story behind it and a personal connection.
I only started painting a few years ago while recovering from breast cancer treatment. What began as something to help me through a difficult time has become a real passion, and I feel incredibly lucky to now be sharing my work with others.
I love painting places that people recognise – somewhere they grew up, walked past every day or visited on holiday. My hope is that when someone sees one of my paintings it brings back a memory or makes them stop and look at a familiar place in a different way.
The exhibition includes original paintings, limited edition giclée prints, greeting cards and smaller pieces, so whether you're looking for a special piece of art or simply want to have a browse, I'd love you to call in.
This isn't about grand statements or complicated ideas. It's simply a chance to share the places that inspire me every time I pick up a paintbrush.
The exhibition is free to visit, and I'll be there most days if you'd like to chat about the paintings, ask questions or just say hello. Everyone is very welcome, and I hope you'll enjoy looking around as much as I've enjoyed creating the work.
