The 8th International Flann O’Brien Conference is set to bring a vibrant gathering of scholars and enthusiasts of Flann O Brien’s work to Strabane’s Alley Theatre from June 25th to 27th, 2025.

Strabane was buzzing with excitement this past weekend as over 25,000 people flocked to the town centre for the much-anticipated return of Summer Jamm 2025. The event delivered a spectacular line-up of family-friendly activities, live performances, and vibrant displays.

Strabane is set to come alive this Saturday, June 7th, as the Summer Jamm Festival transforms the town into a vibrant hub of family fun and local talent. Running from 12pm until late, the festival offers a diverse lineup of attractions and events for all ages.

Festival Co-ordinator with Derry City and Strabane District Council, Aisling McCallion, joined Kyron Bourke and Linley Hamilton ahead of their production of the fabulous ‘No Citation’ being staged on the opening night of the festival in the Playhouse. The Festival will run from Thursday May 1st – Monday May 5^th with over 400 performances in venues across the city.
