  2. Landmarks
Bucket list at the ready – prepare to tick off some must-see landmarks on your trip to the city. It goes without saying that a visit to Derry isn’t complete without taking a walk on our 17th century City Walls. A walk around the walls reveals a splendid city crammed full of history, heritage and a vibrant cultural scene.
  3. Churches/Cathedrals
We boast two beautiful cathedrals in the city - both worthy of a visit - as well as a plethora of beautiful churches. St Columb’s Cathedral was the first Cathedral built after the Reformation. It is the city’s most historic building containing displays of artefacts from the Siege. It is also home to the locks of the Walled City.

Enjoy a theatre experience in the Walled City. Whether it’s a small scale am-dram or a full blown musical theatre experience, you’ll find it all here.
  5. Art Galleries
Derry is full of remarkable art galleries showing all kinds of art all year round. Including the Garden of Reflection, located in the heart of the city centre. Linking a courtyard from Bishop Street to Pump Street the space includes specially commissioned public art works. Head to The Alley Arts and Conference Centre in Strabane and you’ll find a dedicated art gallery, highlighting some of the best exhibitions from across the UK and Ireland.
