About

Bí linn ar aistear ceoil agus damhsa i gcoiscéimeanna Cholm Cille, agus sinn ag comhroinnt ár gcultúr Gaelach comhroinnte. Ag toiseacht in Albain le Sraithspé Uibheast a Deas, déanfaidh muid Flaing Dhoire, agus críochnóidh muid le Damhsa Garbhchríche Dhoire. Trí cinn de dhamhsaí délámhacha leis an anam a chothú agus an spiorad a ardú!

I ndiaidh na ceardlainne uair an chloig beidh seisiún damhsa le clár iontach de dhamhsaí áitiúla.

Beidh sí oscailte do gach duine agus ní bheidh taithí roimhe seo ar dhamhsa de dhíth, agus ní chaithfidh tú teacht mar chuid de lánúin. Is féidir leat páirt a ghlacadh sa cheardlann nó sa seisiún fosta, seachas an dá cheann amháin. Tae agus caife ar fáill le linn an sosa.

Teagascfaidh Mary agus Joe McGuiggan an cheardlann agus stiúrfaidh siad an seisiún damhsa, i gcuideachta na gceoltóirí Clodagh Warnock, Fionnán McIvor agus Róisín McCrory.
___

Join us on a music and dance journey in the footsteps of Colmcille, as we celebrate our shared Celtic heritage. Starting in Scotland with the South Uist Strathspey, we join the Derry Fling, and end in the Donegal Highland. A trio of two hand dances to nourish the soul and lift the spirit!

The one hour workshop will be followed by a dance session with an exciting programme of local dances.

Open to everyone, no previous dancing experience needed and you don't have to come as a couple. You can also just join for the workshop or the session, rather than both. Tea and coffee available during the break.

Mary and Joe McGuiggan will teach the worship and lead the dance session, accompanied by musicians Clodagh Warnock, Fionnan McIvor and Roisin McCrory.
