About

As December approaches, Saint Columb's Cathedral is preparing for a very busy and exciting month.

Why not join us in the special Christmas atmosphere of the Cathedral at this wonderful time of the year.

Experience the magic of Christmas at St Columb’s Cathedral this December, as part of the annual Christmas Festival — now among the highlights of the festive season in the city. This year’s festival will once again transform the Cathedral with a stunning display of  A Victorian Christmas Village, Cecil Frances Alexander Christmas sitting room, Sunday School Display, Choir Boys & Girls Tree, Mothers’ Union ‘anytime time is teatime’, Christmas trees, handcrafted dioramas, many innovative tree like displays, created by local charities, schools, community groups and businesses — a true celebration of the city’s creativity.
