WHEN JUDAS MET JOHN : SONGS OF DYLAN AND LENNON

About

Brothers Broke bring their popular and well-reviewed 2022 Edinburgh Fringe “in-person” show to debut at the City of Derry Jazz Festival.
Performing the music of Dylan and Lennon, this duo’s choice and presentation of songs tells a story around the influence, jealousy, parody and respect that each artist had for the other.
This show captures little known truths about Dylan and Lennon’s relationship. It is charismatic in its offering of subtle ‘sibling’ harmonies supported by acoustic blues and folk guitar and harmonica, adding musical personality and character by way of interpretation of the works of both these legendary artists.

“Far more in-depth than a simple tribute concert. The music is exquisite” (The Wee Review)
“A memorable arrangement and fitting tribute” (The Edinburgh Reporter)
“Charming and effortless performers” (Theatre Weekly)
“Enjoyable, well done and excellent harmonica” (North Westend UK)
“This Irish duo’s own arrangements gave integrity…a highlight” (Three Weeks, Edinburgh)
