About

Twa Tongues, Aon Tír Amháin (Two Tongues, One Land) is a joint author-led event celebrating the creativity, history and continuing relevance of poetry in the Irish and Ulster-Scots languages through conversation, poetry and live performance.
The event will bring together two award-winning writers and poets – Darren Gibson and Proinsias Mac a' Bhaird, one working in Irish and one in Ulster-Scots, to explore their personal journeys as poets, the reasons they chose to write creatively in these languages, and the people, places, and traditions that have influenced their work.
Entry is free but booking is essential.
