About

Orchestra NorthWest is a vibrant and ambitious community symphony orchestral project launched in May 2019 and managed by arts organisation Allegri.

Led by Musical and Artistic Director, Maurice Kelly, it is comprised of local musicians from Derry, Strabane, Donegal and the wider north-west region. The orchestra offers an exciting range of ensemble performance, workshop and learning opportunities.

This is their first appearance in the Alley Theatre and they will perform an exhilarating selection of music from stage and screen including 007: Through The Years, Pirates of the Caribbean, Andrew Lloyd Webber Symphonic Reflections, Carmen Suite No 1 and Adagio From Spartacus Suite No 2., A Tribute to John Williams.
