Orchestra NorthWest presents Ready...Set...Works!

Waterside Theatre, Glendermott Road, Derry~Londonderry, BT47 6BG
Orchestra NorthWest presents Ready...Set...Works!

About

The programme features Beethoven’s Symphony No. 3 ‘Eroica’ (4th movt), Brahms’ Academic Festival Overture, ‘A Tribute to John Williams’, ‘Dambusters March’ by Eric Coates and Mozart’s Symphony No. 39 (1st movt).

There will also be commentary on the musical elements, compositional devices and structures of the works as well as engaging discussion of their social and historical contexts.

We encourage those studying music at all levels to come along and experience the magic of live performance while developing their understanding of the activities of performing, composing, listening and appraising.

The performance is also open to the general public.
