Come to Foyle Obon Festival 2025! We're so excited to celebrate Japanese culture, taiko drumming, and everything that makes this place so special. This year, we are especially thrilled to welcome the amazing Kodo members from Japan. Their skill, energy, and heart will bring something truly unique to our festival, and we are incredibly grateful they've made the journey to be with us.
We will transform the beautiful Playtrail into 'Little Tokyo' for the afternoon. As well as some amazing Taiko from Kodo, they will be joined by our very own Ibuki Taiko group along with our community taiko groups. There will also be Bon Odoriferous traditional dances, storytelling, arts and crafts, games, quiz trail, face painting, food and much more!
