About
Staged reading directed by Rhiann Jeffrey
'loving you has felt like the apocalypse. it's felt like burning every time you touch her. it's felt like stars tearing my body apart.'
It's the hottest Easter Sunday on record. Five friends in search of the afterparty find an abandoned suitcase in the middle of the park. And what's inside might portend the end of the world.
A tense, thrilling body-horror play that explores the politics of queer friendship groups and the ways in which we dismember ourselves and the people we love.
Our First Glimpse series offers you the chance to get an exclusive early look at plays destined for production or currently already under commission. Sharing the first act of each play in a staged reading style - you get a taste of what's to come, and a chance to be part of the earliest conversations.
