He made history in 2023 when he delivered a critically acclaimed rendition of "Amhrán na bhFiann" for President Michael D. Higgins at the FAI President's Cup Final — becoming the first man ever to sing the Irish National Anthem for a sitting Irish President, in the North of Ireland. Conor was awarded the 1st ever Arts and Culture Icon Award by The Derry Journal in 2025.
