About

DERRY & DONEGAL PERFORMERS TAKE TO THE STAGE FOR LAUNCH OF CELINE’S SALON – THE ANTHOLOGY Vol 2

Book Launch Event: Friday 3rd February 2023

Since 2016, Soho based Celine’s Salon has been running as a literary cabaret, gathering writers from all genres, to showcase new work in poetry, prose, song writing, comedy, spoken word and performing art.

In 2022, Celine’s Salon took to the road, staging events in Derry, Tenby, Glasgow and London. To celebrate the writers who took part in that literary road trip, Celine’s Salon – The Anthology Volume 2 is published by Wordville Press. The book’s Irish launch event will be held in Derry’s Millennium Forum Studio Theatre where the audience will enjoy performances from some of the anthology’s contributors.

The anthology contains work by 29 writers, poets and songwriters: Nerys Beattie, Mel Bradley, Valerie Bryce, Ronan Carr, Ashley Chapman, Jo D'arc, Keiran Goddard, Michael Groce, Celine Hispiche, George Houston, James King & Ann McKay, Siobhan Lancaster, Katharine Macfarlane, Thomas McColl, Mark McGhee, Ros Moore, Heather Moulson, Lesley O'Brien, Kevin O'Dowd, Niall O'Mianain, Billy Parker, PBJ, Pinky, Frank Rafferty, Juanita Rea, Bob Reeves and Susie Wild.

On stage, at the launch will be beloved performers from, around North West, London and Glasgow including host Frank Rafferty.
