About

The North West Golf Club (Links) was founded in 1891 in Derry's Guildhall. Sixteen local businessmen got together and commissioned Mr. Charles Thompson the Royal Portrush Professional, to design the classic links course we have today.

The North West Golf Club is one of Ireland's oldest Courses and is one of the nine Founder Members Clubs of the Golfing Union of Ireland.

Being the nearest links course to Derry City just a twenty-minute drive away, the North West Golf Club offers the visiting golfer a fantastic opportunity to play on a classic true links course, steeped in history and surrounded by outstanding natural scenery along the Wild Atlantic Way.
