Dive in to Derry~Londonderry 

No matter what the weather has in store this half-term, there is plenty to keep the kids entertained within the Walled City... 

Tower Museum  

Located within the historic city walls, head to the Tower Museum and learn all about the ‘Story of Derry’ and ‘An Armada Shipwreck’ You can also see costumes, props and sets from the hit TV Comedy at the ‘Derry Girls Experience’  

Brunswick Moviebowl  

The Brunswick Moviebowl offers the perfect stop for a full day out. This impressive entertainment complex is home to a seven-screen cinema, 16 ten pin bowling lanes, a soft play area, arcade games and more! They also have a restaurant, a cafe diner and an ice cream parlour so food is taken care of!  

Lock ‘n Load  

With an indoor centre and outdoor forestry, Lock ‘n Load have a range of activities for all ages including Airsoft, laser tag and nerf wars so get ready to Lock ’n Load!

Creggan Country Park  

With a 100-acre site, Creggan Country Park offer a range of activities both on land and water. From paddle-boarding to pier jumping, and orienteering to an assault course; there is something for everyone! 

Far & Wild: Forest School  

Far and Wild offer many activities, including their Forest School. With a mixture of ‘thriviv’-al techniques and adventure games there is multitude of practical, fun activities for adults and kids alike.  

Explore Beyond The Walls 

Situated where the Wild Atlantic Way meets the Causeway Coastal Route, there are so many things to see and do just beyond the Walled City...

Wild Ireland  

Located on the Inishowen Peninsula, a short 20min drive from the Walled City lies a unique wild animal sanctuary. Wild Ireland offers a home to many animals which have been persecuted and hunted into extinction on this Island such as Brown Bears, Wolves, Lynx and Wild Boar. Step back in time into an ancient woodland where the team have recreated the natural habitats of these animals so they can now live much as they would in the wild.  

Wild Alpaca Way  

Enjoy a walk with a difference around Ireland’s most northerly point; Malin Head. Take a guided trek through the stunningly beautiful Knockamany Bends with a herd of Alpacas. This is the ideal family experience.  

Oakfire Adventure

Crindle Stables  

A family-run equestrian centre, Crindle Stables offer a wide range of activites suitable for beginners and the more advanced rider. With horse-riding lessons and a ‘day at the stables’ experience on offer, this is one for the animal lovers!
