Stendhal Festival: Escape The Norm 6th-8th July 2023

About

Stendhal Festival is a music and arts festival which takes place each year in the stunning, scenic surroundings of Ballymully Cottage Farm, Limavady.

Kick start your summer with singing, dancing and all modes of merriment courtesy of a stellar cast of performers from all artistic walks of life.
Music, comedy, poetry, a dedicated family programme and a host of visual arts for your senses to feast upon.

This year's lineup consists of legendary reggae band The Wailers, Irish rockers Bell X1, Ivor Novello Award winning jazz musician Yazz Ahmed, the Roe Valley's own Cara Dillon and the festival's first ever headline act from back in 2011 - Turin Brakes. Newton Faulkner, Sprints, The Scratch, Joshua Burnside and DJ sets from Huey Morgan and Andy Smith round off the rest of the headline acts. Across the weekend there will also be appearances from local acts such as No Oil Paintings, Sasha Samara, Red Eye Pariah, Manukahunney, Pinkslips, Boy M5, Lauren Ann, Winnie Ama, Katherine Timoney, Invaderband and many more.

The festival also has a dedicated family programme that caters to children and families of all ages. Such is the focus on the family aspect of the festival, Stendhal has won awards naming it Ireland’s Best Family Festival over the years and organisers of the event are keen to improve the family and children’s entertainment offerings each and every year.

A wide range foodie experience can be experienced at Stendhal where everyone can enjoy diverse and delicious food. Delicious, mouth watering and healthy vegetarian, vegan food will be sold from food trailers and food stalls scattered throughout the festival site as well.
