Jazz Juniors Workshop with David Lyttle
We are excited to welcome Jazzlife Alliance's Jazz Juniors annual roadshow workshop with MOBO-nominated jazz musician David Lyttle to Seamus Heaney HomePlace!
This free workshop invites under 18s from across Northern Ireland to try jazz improvisation and explore jazz is a supportive area.
No experience in jazz is required and all instruments as well as singers are welcome. Friends and family are also welcome to attend.
Jazz Juniors is Northern Ireland's first jazz improvisation scheme for under 18s, led by David Lyttle. In addition to monthly ensemble sessions led by David Lyttle at the MAC Belfast, Strule Arts Centre Omagh, and The Market Place Theatre Armagh, Jazz Juniors also receive individual mentorship, attend masterclasses by internationally-acclaimed musicians and perform concerts nationwide. Its principle funder is the Arts Council of Northern Ireland.
