Merchant's House offers boutique guest accommodation in the heart of Derry City.
It has 9 en-suite rooms in the main house and one basement apartment offering 2 bedrooms, a full kitchen and a living/dining area. The building itself has listed status and dates back to 1865, showcasing many original fireplaces including intricate cornicing, marble fireplaces and beautiful sash windows.
A number of room types are available for travellers with different requirements.
We have mini rooms which are aimed to cater for solo travellers or couples on a budget (small double bed).
Our midi rooms provide a UK king size bed and tea and coffee facilities.
Our maxi rooms have a UK king size bed with a kitchenette containing a fridge, sink, Nespresso coffee machine, toaster and kettle.
Our family room consists of a UK Kingsize bed and a day bed which converts into 2 separate single beds.
Guests can enjoy a continental breakfast in our dining room based on the ground floor. There is also a beautiful courtyard with an outdoor seating area.
