Workshop: Blogging for Joy with Sharon Jones

About

Bringing words and pictures into conversation, blogging is a remarkable platform to share the beauty we find in our everyday world.
Like poems, great blogs are snapshots with the power to kindle imaginations. In this informal, interactive workshop, Northern Irish writer and teacher Dr Sharon Jones will reflect on the highs and lows of her own journey into the blogosphere.
Drawing inspiration from Seamus Heaney, who, in Gerald Dawe's words, found the 'marvellous in the ordinary', we will explore together the rewards of attending to the world we encounter, and responding within the frame of a blog. There will be opportunity to write new content, with an eye to thoughtful curation; creative connection; and excellent communication. A workshop for keen beginners, seasoned bloggers, and anyone in between!
