Brought to life by The Ignite Project CIC, Spring Awakening is a rock musical which explores the struggles of adolescence, sexuality, and societal repression.

The story follows teenagers Melchior, Wendla and Moritz as they navigate the confusion of growing up in a world that refuses to educate or support them.

Themes of desire, shame, abuse and mental health are presented with raw emotion and modern music. The show highlights the tragic consequences of ignorance, ultimately urging openness, understanding and compassion in the journey from youth to adulthood.

This show contains adult themes, strong language, and references to suicide and sexual content.Advised for ages 16 and over.
