The North West Angling Fair returns Saturday 6th & Sunday 7th April 2024.

The 2024 Angling Fair is back in Melvin Sports Complex, Melvin Road, Strabane, County Tyrone, which lies on banks of the Mourne River. For the latest updates, reel in the news by following us on Facebook. This is the eighth year of the event, delivered by Derry City and Strabane District Council in conjunction with The Loughs Agency.

This year we are delighted welcome back Fly Tyers Row with a range of highly skilled Fly Dressers, who will be at the fair throughout the weekend. See who will be in attendance here.

Angling for All

Embark on an angling adventure that welcomes everyone, as the North West Angling Fair proudly presents the groundbreaking "Angling for All" programme which will be delivered by Foyle River-Catchment Outdoor Group (FROG CIC). Designed to champion inclusivity, this initiative focuses on engaging underrepresented groups within angling, offering a gateway to the vibrant world of fishing for youth, ladies, and disabled anglers.
