Join us at Seamus Heaney HomePlace on Saturday 1st August for a special screening of Trad, presented in association with Collective - an initiative from Film Hub NI and Queen's Film Theatre that brings the very best of homegrown film directly to audiences.

As part of the Fleadh at Queen's programme, celebrating Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2026 coming to Belfast for the very first time, this hugely entertaining film is a vibrant celebration of Irish music, heritage and adventure.

Featuring a stellar lead performance from rising star Megan Nic Fhionnghaile, Trad is not to be missed.

Explore our award-winning exhibition on the life, literature and legacy of Seamus Heaney, followed by live traditional music from local musicians in the HomePlace café and a film screening of Trad.
