Be part of Europe’s LARGEST Halloween Festival, from 28th - 31st October 2025. Witness ghosts, banshees and mystical Celtic creatures as they come out to play on our 400 year old walls. Marvel at stunning light shows, acrobats and circus performers. Feel the warmth of the ‘Derry’ welcome and dance alongside thousands of costumed revellers, under a sky filled with fireworks. Join us for an unforgettable journey into the heart of Samhain- Embark on a journey along the Awakening The Walled City Trail, where folklore, history, and heritage come to life in a truly unique experience.
- The Halloween Parade will take places on 31st October at 7pm, followed by the fireworks procession - watch the Samhain skies come alive with colour! The parade traditionally involves hundreds of local performers from schools, clubs and groups right across the City and District, helping it to retain the community spirit that has always been at the heart of Derry’s world class festivities.
