Dawn Chorus: Bird Walk and Talk at Lough Beg

45 Main Street, Bellaghy, Bellaghy, County Londonderry, BT458HT
Dawn Chorus: Bird Walk and Talk at Lough Beg

About

With Seán Ronayne

Proudly presented in association with RSPB Northern Ireland

Lough Beg Nature Reserve is one of the finest ornithological sites in the British Isles with 171 recorded species of birds. There is no better place on these shores to observe and listen to birds.

Seán Ronayne's dawn chorus recordings have been featured in national media and nature documentaries, asking us to listen more closely to the forgotten soundscape of our environment.

Deepen your appreciation of the sonic beauty of the natural world on our doorstep as Seán guides you through the magical world of birdsong at first light at The Strand at Lough Beg.

The event will conclude with complimentary hot chocolate, courtesy of HomePlace café.

*Please note: Park and ride from HomePlace to meet at 7am. Places are limited so early booking is essential.
