Visit Derry held a trade familiarisation trip on Thursday 3rd March 2022.  The purpose of the visit was to showcase the Visit Derry pass to local industry members and the Visitor Information Centre network across Northern Ireland. In total, 51 representatives attended the fam visit.

On the day, guests enjoyed a warm welcome at Visit Derry Visitor Information Centre before the group toured the city, starting with an expert guide from City Tours. The group visited key locations included in the Visit Derry pass including Saint Columba Heritage Centre, The Museum of Free Derry, The Siege Museum, St Augustine’s Church, The Tower Musuem and The Guildhall as well as a snapshot of Bogside History Tours. The fam trip ended with lunch at The Guildhall Taphouse.

This is the second fam trip of its kind Visit Derry has hosted and it was a huge success with fantastic feedback from all those who attended.
