Tourism chiefs visit Awakening the Walled City Trail

The Mayor of Derry and Strabane, Councillor Ruairí McHugh welcomed the Minister for the Economy, Dr Caoimhe Archibald, along with CEO of Tourism Ireland, Alice Mansergh, and CEO of Tourism NI, Laura McCorry, to the city yesterday for the opening night of the Derry Halloween festivities and the Awakening the Walled City Trail.

    Ryanair made a highly anticipated return to the North West in December to operate the new service between City of Derry Airport and Manchester. Following the roaring success over the last few months with consistently high passenger loads, the airline has increased the frequency of the service with a new Monday departure and arrival flight taking off from 2nd May 2022.
