Hill of the O'Neill & Ranfurly House, 26 Market Square, Dungannon, Tyrone, BT70 1AB
Upcoming event - Names from the Ledger: Unearthing our Workhouse and Emigration Stories at Hill of the O'Neill in Dungannon

About

Local names, lost lives, and new links with the Irish diaspora.

Join us at Hill of The O’Neill & Ranfurly House for a history talk by Mary MacGinty, chairperson of Donaghmore Historical Society to uncover the human stories behind Dungannon Workhouse. Drawing on the Memorial Garden, the online archive and new research links with the Irish diaspora overseas, this talk follows real names, places from the workhouse ledger, and asks what they can still tell us today about loss, survival, and memory.
