Check out the award-winning Museum of Free Derry and hear the story of the troubles at their multi-media museum in the Bogside area. Follow the road to peace at the Peacemakers Museum, which explores the period between August 1972 and to May 2007. 

Venture down the road, within the City Walls, and you’ll find the Siege Museum. There you’ll learn all about the Siege of Londonderry and the associated clubs of the Apprentice boys of Derry. A treasure-trove of artefacts from past to present are housed in this three floor museum.

Step into the Tower Museum to explore the home of Derry Girls and discover where it all began. See original memorabilia and sets from the hit tv show! You can also get a sneak peek at some of the collection that will be available at our DNA (Derry North Atlantic) Museum - opening 2027! 

A visit to the city just isn’t complete without checking out the Guildhall, where a warm welcome awaits. The Guildhall is possibly one of the city’s most recognisable landmarks and has been in the heart of city life since 1890. Experience the Plantation of Ulster exhibition, see the main hall and organ and become dazzled by the beauty of the buildings iconic stained glass windows.
