Whatever speed you like to enjoy life at, take a trip to Northern Ireland and you’ll be wowed by all the fantastic things to do.

Sailing into Belfast is a genuine sight to behold. Take in the majestic Harland and Wolff cranes known as Samson and Goliath where the Titanic ship was built. Slightly further afield is the iconic Titanic Belfast. Awarded World’s Leading Tourist Attraction at the World Travel Awards, step inside and learn the fascinating history behind the ship through an interactive experience.

For fans of the HBO hit show Game of Thrones, a road trip around Northern Ireland is an absolute must and you can see some of the locations from the show. See the Dark Hedges in real life or Castle Ward which was the Winterfell home to the Stark Family. Come along to the recently opened Game of Thrones Studio Tour in Banbridge and see costumes, initial sketches, and props from the show. Claim your allegiance to the House Targaryen, Stark, or Lannister when you pick up a souvenir at the Gift Shop.

The Causeway Coast is the perfect place for an adventure. Stop off at the Giant’s Causeway and see the world-famous hexagonal stones or if you’re feeling brave, how about crossing the Carrick-A-Rede Rope Bridge? Positioned 100ft above water and connected between cliffs, crossing this bridge is a truly exhilarating experience!

If you’re a keen golfer, then you’ll want to take on the challenging Dunluce and Links courses at the Royal Portrush Golf Club which hosted the Open Championship in 2019 and will return in 2025. Another great golf club to visit is the Royal County Down Golf Course which hosted the Irish Open Championship in 2015.

If you love the outdoors, then a jaunt to the Mourne Mountains is in order, climb Slieve Donard which is the highest mountain in Northern Ireland, and you’ll be rewarded with views of Dublin and the Isle of Man. There’s a plethora of forest parks to explore, whether it’s by foot or by bike, they are perfect to pitch a tent and enjoy nature at its finest.

Another city to explore is Derry~Londonderry which is rich in heritage and culture. Step inside the Tower Museum and learn the history of the city and take in breathtaking panoramic views of the River Foyle. The Guildhall has been the heart of the city since 1890, see the main hall and the beautiful stained-glass windows.

On the way to Derry~Londonderry, stop off at the Seamus Heaney HomePlace, a stunning space dedicated to the Nobel Laureate’s writing. And don’t forget to stop by the Derry Girls mural and get a photograph of the famous gang!

Whether you’re travelling by car or by foot, visit Northern Ireland and you’re guaranteed to have a fantastic holiday filled with new experiences and memories.
