As the hustle and bustle of Christmas winds down and the New Year's celebrations await, there's a delightful in-between period known as Twixmas – a magical time to extend the festive spirit with your loved ones. 

Our legenderry Walled City is renowed for its warm welcome, great craic, music scene and atmosphere.

With winter upon us, shorter days and darker nights, there's no better way to spend the evening than by checking out some of the city's cosiest pubs.

A shopping trip in Derry~Londonderry will most definitely not disappoint. From luxury boutique stores, to high street chains and our stunning craft shops, you’ll find everything you need and more. So whether you’re visiting the city to explore our historic 400-year-old Walls, award-winning museums or even simply just to check out our social scene, make sure you swing by our shopping centres too.

There are so many great reasons to visit Derry~Londonderry but here’s a few suggestions.

You’ve most likely spent the month frenetically rushing towards the 25^th. The big day has been and gone, and you may come to experience ‘Romjul’ – Norwegian for a ‘lull’. Whether you wish to take things slowly or have energetic little ones to entertain, there’s so much to enjoy in the Walled City and district on the days between Christmas and New Year.
