Over sixty choirs from across Ireland, the UK and Europe have signed up to celebrate the 10th anniversary of City of Derry International Choir Festival. Five days of choral singing events are scheduled in the Millennium Forum, the Guildhall and other venues in Derry, Strabane and Inishowen from 18-22 October 2023

Next week the Tower Museum will host a homecoming with a difference as it opens its doors to the Derry Girls Experience – an exciting showcase of memorabilia from the show that’s well and truly put Derry on the map.

The four-star Roe Park Resort in Limavady has announced a £720K sustainability strategy investment, as it becomes a member of Green Tourism and works towards a target of net zero by 2050. 

Derry’s own Nadine Coyle visited City of Derry Airport on Thursday 22^nd June to launch skincare brand Skin Generics into the Airport Shop.

It’s been captivating audiences around the world since the award-winning comedy series Derry Girls first hit our screens, and now it’s coming home, as the Tower Museum prepares to showcase a treasure trove of original items from the show, courtesy of creator Lisa McGee and Hat Trick Productions.

Today on Ulster University’s Coleraine campus, leading tourism, food and drink and sporting experts are coming together for the first Tourism Summit. They will not only reflect on and celebrate the dividends that peace has brought in terms of hospitality and tourism for Causeway Coast and North West region but lay down a challenge for what can and needs to be achieved over the next two decades.  

The Mayor of Derry City and Strabane District Council has expressed her absolute joy as Derry is nominated in the 2023 World Travel Awards for their amazing festival and events.
