You’ve most likely spent the month frenetically rushing towards the 25^th. The big day has been and gone, and you may come to experience ‘Romjul’ – Norwegian for a ‘lull’. Whether you wish to take things slowly or have energetic little ones to entertain, there’s so much to enjoy in the Walled City and district on the days between Christmas and New Year.

To mark the 25th Anniversary of the Good Friday Agreement in 2023, The Playhouse Derry~Londonderry will present Beyond Belief, a major new drama honouring the waking life of John Hume. Screening across the world as part of 2023 global commemorations of the agreement, the play will be performed by the people of Derry in the city’s Guildhall.

With less than two weeks to go, we are well and truly feeling the Christmas spirit here in the Walled City. If you haven't experienced a Derry Christmas just yet, we have curated a guide so you can make the most of a festive day out in Derry~Londonderry.
