On Thursday 23^rd September 2021 Visit Derry’s new Visitor Information Centre celebrated one year since opening its doors. Located in the heart of the city at Waterloo Place, the state-of-the-art Visitor Information Centre offers a range of trip-planning services for visitors to the Walled City and North West region.

Economy Minister Gordon Lyons has launched a £1million Conference Support Scheme.

Launched in partnership with Tourism NI, Visit Belfast, Visit Derry, Belfast City Council and Derry and Strabane District Council, the scheme is part of the Tourism Recovery Action Plan and is aimed at securing business events for Northern Ireland.
