Over sixty choirs from across Ireland, the UK and Europe have signed up to celebrate the 10th anniversary of City of Derry International Choir Festival. Five days of choral singing events are scheduled in the Millennium Forum, the Guildhall and other venues in Derry, Strabane and Inishowen from 18-22 October 2023

Next week the Tower Museum will host a homecoming with a difference as it opens its doors to the Derry Girls Experience – an exciting showcase of memorabilia from the show that’s well and truly put Derry on the map.

Step on board – a new era in emissions-free public transport is emerging

Derry~Londonderry will soon become one of the first cities in the UK and Ireland to operate a fully zero-emission urban bus service and members of the public have been invited to come along and view the future of public transport first-hand. 

Foyle Port has announced it has welcomed its first cruise ship of 2023 on the 12^th of May. The Port, which is the gateway to the North West of Ireland, welcomed Seabourn Ovation as she visited Lough Foyle. This marks the start of the 2023 cruise season when the port will welcome more than double the cruise ships compared to last year.

An outstanding International entry has been confirmed for the tenth anniversary edition of City of Derry International Choir Festival. Between 18-22 October 2023, choirs from around the world will travel to the city to compete for the Festival’s International prize, and to bring their song to local communities throughout Derry, Strabane and Donegal.
