About

We'd love you to join us at our next event as Le Foyer des Artistes continues to bring world class music to St Columb's Hall.

The Concerto Award Finalists' Recital will see 3 prize-winning young pianists from the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester compete for the chance to scoop the top prize. The winner will also return to Derry on the feast day of St Columba, 9 June 2023, to play Mozart’s piano concerto 9 in Eb major, a work so sublime it has been described as ‘one of the greatest wonders of the world’.

There’s an audience prize too for you to cast your vote. The ChallengeCurve Audience Prize will be awarded to the pianist most enjoyed by you!

This event also marks the beginning of a new collaboration with YAMAHA Music Europe. They have just released their  newest piano, the CFX 2022, which has been endorsed by the London Symphony Orchestra as well as some of the greatest pianists in the world.

For the first time ever, YAMAHA will ship the CFX  from London to St Columb’s Hall in Derry, for this very special event.

Book your tickets now to part part of this incredible event.
