CONCERTINA WORKSHOP WITH AINE FITZGERALD
Áine Fitzgerald is a 24-year-old multi-instrumentalist from Celbridge, Co.Kildare. She is a five time All-Ireland Fleadh Cheoil champion, and multi-medalist across a range of solo, duet and trio competitions on the concertina, harp, tin whistle and singing. Áine has performed, taught and adjudicated at a range of fleadhanna, festivals and other events, including performances on TG4, RnaG, and in the National Concert Hall. She has recently graduated as a pharmacist from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland.

HARP WORKSHOP WITH AISLING LYONS
Aisling Lyons, multi-award winning harper, concertina player & composer from County Clare has been described as '..the finest young Irish harpist at work today..' - Songlines Magazine & 'one of traditional music’s finest musicians’ by Hot Press Magazine in 2022 after the release of her debut album ‘Aistear’. Aisling is an experienced concertina teacher also, having taught masterclasses at festivals such as Consairtín, Milwaukee Irish Fest Summer School (USA) & Swaledale Squeeze (UK). Aisling was nominated in the ‘Best Folk Instrumentalist’ & ‘Best Emerging Artist’ categories at the RTÉ Radio 1 Folk Awards in 2022.

FLUTE WORKSHOP WITH HARRY BRADLEY
Harry Bradley was born in South Belfast. The vibrant recording heritage from the 1920s and 30s has had a huge influence on his flute-playing style as has the playing of musicians such as Seamus Tansey, Dessie Wilkinson and piper Seamus Ennis, to name but a few. Noted for his unique tone and driving rhythm, Harry has come to be recognized as one of the most distinctive flute players in Ireland today.

UILLEANN PIPES WITH MAEVE O’DONNELL
Maeve O’Donnell is a prominent young uilleann piper and tin whistle player. She originally hails from Co Tyrone with strong Donegal connections and is currently living in Belfast. Her childhood was steeped in the Irish tradition and she has achieved numerous all Ireland titles. She has toured, performed and taught workshops extensively throughout Ireland and Europe in recent years. Maeve has recorded on several albums, most recently for the new Na Píoblairí Uilleann piping CD due to be released in the coming months.

FIDDLE WORKSHOP WITH DONAL O`CONNOR OR SORCHA COSTELLO
Dónal O’Connor
Son of the celebrated fiddler Gerry O’Connor and renowned singer Eithne Ní Uallacháin, Dónal O’Connor has inherited a musical legacy of at least five generations of fiddle playing and countless generations of traditional singing. Highly regarded as a musician, composer and producer, the Irish Times calls him “immaculate”, “electrifying” and “…born out of naked talent and consummate professionalism.” He has toured the world from a young age as both a lead and backing instrumentalist with a number of bands including Lá Lugh, At First Light, Ulaid and the Irish song super group A Stór Mo Chroí.
Sorcha Costello
Awarded with the prestigious Gradam Ceoil TG4 Young Musician of the Year 2021, Sorcha Costello is a traditional Irish fiddle player from Tulla Co. Clare. Hailing from a family emerged in traditional Irish music, she performs mainly as a solo artist but is also part of other musical collaborations which includes a duet with her mother, Mary MacNamara. While Sorcha’s style of fiddle playing is rooted in East Clare, she has been strongly influenced by musicians such as Frankie Gavin, Brian Rooney, and Tommy Potts. She is now practising as a qualified Music Therapist but also continues to perform and teach traditional music.

BUTTON ACCORDION WITH DAMIEN MULLANE
In a short space of time Damien Mullane has a musical cv that any veteran musician would be proud of. He began his professional career as the accordionist in the legendary Frankie Gavin's band De Dannan. Described as a virtuoso with an avant-garde style of playing, he has won numerous All-Ireland titles on both accordion and melodeon.

BANJO WORKSHOP WITH ELAINE REILLY
From Granard, Co Longford, Elaine Reilly is one of the foremost tenor banjo players of her generation. She is in high demand as an accomplished and much sought after performer and tutor. She has taught at many events including The Willie Clancy Summer School and Scoil Eigse and has toured extensively in Ireland, Britain and North America. In 2020, Elaine was chosen as one of 20 musicians for Trad Ireland’s 20/20 visionaries project and recently recorded with fellow Longford banjo player, Angelina Carberry. In February 2022, Elaine performed as part of a new project Ardán, alongside Sorcha Costello and Catherine McHugh. Most recently, Elaine and Sorcha performed at the Return to London Town festival, The Patrick O’Keefe festival and featured on Tg4 programmes Scoil Samhraidh Willie Clancy and Geantraí.

BODHRÁN MASTER CLASS WITH CATHY KIRKE
Cathy Kirke is a member of Emyvale C.C.É., Co. Monaghan and plays bodhrán, whistle and piano. She qualified from Mater Dei in Dublin in 2014 with a B.Ed Music & Religion and received the Boylan Award for Music student of the year. She completed a Masters in Traditional Irish Music Performance in the University of Limerick in 2015.
She is a member of the McQuaid School of Irish Dancing and has travelled as a dancer with a group from Clasac to many international festivals. She is a member of the Comhaltas National Folk Orchestra and also took part in the Comhaltas concert tour of Ireland and Britain in 2018/2019. Cathy is a member of the Ulster Traditional Folk Orchestra which premiered ‘Ómós na nUltach’ at Fleadh Uladh last July. She has taught bodhrán and piano at Scoil Éigse over the past few years.
