A Christmas Carol Trail: A Magical Holiday Adventure for Families

Strabane Town Centre, Strabane, Tyrone
A Christmas Carol Trail through Strabane

About

On a wintry night in Strabane, Ebenezer Scrooge once heard a whisper in the frost… and your journey begins where his begins – at Strabane Library. Step into his shoes. Step into the story. Begin with a short festive tale before you set off on a walking trail of wonder through the town.

Meet Scrooge, Tiny Tim and the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Yet to Come as the classic story comes to life through captivating storytelling, interactive characters, and joyful performances from Class Act Theatre Group. Expect beautifully decorated scenes filled with music, laughter, dance lit by winter sparkle, and live carols rising between ancient stones across Abercorn Square and Castle Street.

Perfect for families, this magical outdoor Christmas experience celebrates kindness, joy and the true meaning of Christmas. Your final revelation awaits inside Grass Roots Café… before we gather one last time along Railway Street for our Christmas Community Market finale. Bundle up, bring your Christmas spirit, and let the story – and the season – come alive all around you.
