Derry is a city with a story to tell, and with a plethora of museums on our doorsteps there's plenty to explore.

Head to the Siege Museum and learn all about the story of the Siege of Londonderry in 1688-89 and the developments  of the Apprentice Boys Association. Or check out the Tower Museum and see it's two permanent exhibitions, 'The Story of Derry' and 'An Armada Shipwreck'.

Visit the Bogside and explore the Peoples' Gallery and check out some of our world-famous murals. afterwards, visit the Museum of Free Derry and hear about the people's story of government oppression, the struggle for civil rights, the Battle of the Bogside, free Derry and Bloody Sunday.

Take a dander over the Peace Bridge. Designed to connect the two sides of the River Foyle, the Peace Bridge has become one of our must-see visitor attractions within the city.

Time for dinner. Dine in one of our award winning restaurants, like the Walled City Brewery.

Start your day off with coffee from 9ine Hostages Coffee Co, trust us - you won't regret it! For more coffee shops, click here

Time to try out Stand Up Paddle Boarding with Far and Wild. It's an experience like no other, as you discover the city from the outside in!

You've most certainly worked up an appetite - now it's time to enjoy some lunch in one of the many fabulous eateries in and around the city, like The Scullery Cafe.

Take a ten minute car journey and escape to the countryside and enjoy some horse riding lessons with City of Derry Equestrian Centre.

Or if you fancy going horse riding on the beach, then take a 20 minute drive out of the city to Crindle Stables in Limavady, there you'll be able to ride at Downhill beach, with the stunning backdrop of the Atlantic Ocean.

Before heading to dinner, why not take a stroll through the city's stunning Brooke Park. Located within walking distance of the city centre, the park is the perfect place to watch the sunset go down and work up an appetite.

There's plenty of places to enjoy good food in the Walled City, like Soda and Starch. It's intimate setting, in the Craft Village, brings to an end the perfect two day break.
