    We will first visit Northbound Brewery to get inside the life of working brewery, taste the brews on offer and meet and hear the story of the people producing such wonderful craft brews. Next up we will depart on a 30 minute scenic trip to one of Northern Ireland’s areas of outstanding natural beauty the Sperrin Mountains, where we will visit Dart Mountain Cheese and meet the cheesemaker, and hear the story of the cheeses inspired by the Sperrin landscapes and legends. Not forgetting we will also sample the range of award winning cheeses. Our Beer & Cheese day excursion tour allows you to meet the producer, learn some knowledge of their craft, while being fun and entertaining. Creating memories you can take away.     Tom Campbell is a highly skilled master craftsman with more than 40 years experience of wood turning and cabinetmaking. His work is highly sought-after and receives many commissions for country houses. Tom is now available by appointment for three hour sessions to guide participants in the art of wood turning. His patience and dedication helps everyone from complete beginners to professional wood-turners . With 6 lathes Tom can cater for up to a maximum of 6 participants. In one session as a beginner you can get the feel for creating wonderful shapes and will probably make a rolling pin or candlestick, while the more advanced participants can produce a bowl or platter. The sense of achievement can be palpable creating the most beautifully curved shapes from locally sourced wood. Tom works with a variety of woods. – ash, oak, spalted beech and bog oaks. Session 3 hours. 10.00 am – 1.00pm or 2.00 – 5.00 pm. Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays Light refreshments are included.
