Foyle River Garden’s, NI's Eden Project is a world-class tourism and heritage led regeneration project, that aspires to open up access to a 225 acre garden that will unlock the landscape along the River Foyle through the Boom Hall, Brook Hall and Thornhill Estates. A community led landscape regeneration project, Foyle River Gardens will open access to an exceptional unspoilt heritage landscape for the benefit of the citizens of the north west of Ireland and international tourists alike – a garden for the city. Through the creation of a world-class tourist and community destination, it will drive innovation across the areas of education, learning, skills, health and well-being, employment and enterprise through a portfolio of environmentally sustainable and ecologically responsible ventures proposed within the project. Our ambition is to place Foyle River Gardens’ Eden Project, and the City of Derry within a global context for tourism and learning. As an educational charitable trust, all benefits from the Foyle River Gardens will be returned to the city for its economic, social and well-being benefit.
