As the Guildhall clock strikes SIX each evening these tremendous toys will come to life with a burst of colour, light and sound.

3)Winterland Markets

The Winterland Markets welcomes the best artisan traders, offering visitors a family friendly shopping experience with a wide selection of specialty Christmas foods and handcrafted products. Tickle your taste buds with homemade jams, chutneys and sauces, artisan breads and cakes, a range of organic meats and of course some sweet treats.

4) Grand Christmas Procession

Follow a magical festive procession through the city streets and arriving in Guildhall Square. Witness a host of Luxe performers bring the streets to life.

5) Mini Walkabout Procession

Words from songs and carols. King Wenceslas or the poor the woodsman gathering sticks in pageant with six golden geese a-laying pushed by children through the Guildhall Square and surrounding streets.

6) Elf on the Shelf Workshop

Each session will commence with the Elf Wokshop, in the Green Room, where everyone will make a Christmas Tree decoration. When this concludes, the group will receive a selection box from the elves before departing.

7) T'was the week before Christmas

WHEN: Monday December 17, 6pm -8pm

WHERE: Studio 2

Mrs Claus is taking time out of her busy schedule to tell some fireside stories, face painting, Christmas arts & crafts, there will be Diana classical Christmas songs from Studio2’s show choir, The Elf show, cookies, hot chocolate and much more.

8) Coca-cola truck in Derry 

Watch the iconic coca cola truck arrive in Derry, which is the truck's second last stop on its Irish tour before it heads to Dublin on Sunday December 16. The truck will feature a glittering winter wonderland setting nestled amongst a festival of lights.

9) Santa's Grotto

See Santa and receive a selection box. There will be photo opportunities, arts and crafts, mulled wine, minced pies and music.

10) Craft Village Family Fun Day  

Characters will fill the Craft Village for their Christmas Family Fun Day, there wil be Christmas music, face painting and balloon modeling as well as free kids prize giveaways.
