Seamus Heaney HomePlace, 45 Main Street, Bellaghy, BT45 8HT

Each month, HomePlace invites a leading artist to respond - in whatever way they choose - to one of Seamus Heaney's celebrated poetry collections. Specifically designed to take place in the intimate surrounds of The Helicon, each staging will enjoy a unique combination of elements - including music, visuals, lighting and performance - to offer a fresh perspective on Heaney's words. This month, artist Varvara Shavrova presents an audio-visual installation responding to The Haw Lantern.

Award-winning Russian artist Varvara Shavrova lives and works in Ireland. She has mounted more than 20 solo exhibitions and curatorial projects all over the world, including the Venice Biennale of Architecture and the Galway International Arts Festival, combining painting with photography, video and live performance, including a multi-lingual, site-specific performance of Seamus Heaney's poem 'Digging' at the Irish Culture Festival in Beijing in 2014.

Show times:
Saturday 22 April: 11am, 1pm and 3pm.
Sunday 23 April: 2pm and 4pm.
