Seamus Heaney HomePlace, 45 Main Street, Bellaghy, BT45 8HT

Each month, HomePlace invites a leading artist to respond - in whatever way they choose - to one of Seamus Heaney's celebrated poetry collections. Specifically designed to take place in the intimate surrounds of The Helicon, each staging will enjoy a unique combination of elements - including music, visuals, lighting and performance - to offer a fresh perspective on Heaney's words. This month, with the focus on Heaney's 1991 collection, Seeing Things, HomePlace invites visual artist Dorothy Cross to respond to Heaney's work.

Dorothy Cross is one of Ireland's leading international artists. Noted for her assemblages of found and constructed objects, Cross now incorporates video and photography into her work to play with what is at risk, on hold, erotic and curious.
